A Rocket to the Moon were quite happy to be home for the last date of the OP Tour this Fall, and they gave it all they had. The set was fun and light-hearted, and the band showed themselves to be very solid live musicians. The majority of the crowd may only have known the band's most popular single "Dakota" at the start of the set, but with the impression the band made its safe to say that it won't be long before they'll be learning the rest of them before long. Cobra Starship never disappoints, but on the OP Tour they were at the top of their game. Lead singer Gabe Saporta's voice has finally regained some of its strength after the surgery he had to undergo last year. But that was just one of the highlights of strobed-out set. The band played a set that perfectly blended old and new songs, fan favorites and fun songs so that all were satisfied. I also caught Gabe Saporta goofing off during The Maine's set on the final date of the tour. Check out the pictures here.
VersaEmerge rocked it out as the opener for the OP Tour this Fall with their high energy set and fresh talent. They didn't have very long to play, but these guys know how to make the best of what time they are given. Fueled By Fans is now back up and running for the new year, and we're hoping to do plenty of bigger and better things in 2010.

How did you guys come together?
We all knew eachother from previous
bands. We had played some local shows together and became friends. I
started this band by myself and asked the other guys to join.
How did you come up with your name?
It's our favorite night of the week. And... we are boys hah
How would you describe your sound?
Fun, energetic, catchy pop/rock
What are your (biggest) musical influences?
Third Eye Blind, Oasis, Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182, Avril Lavigne
If you could go on tour with anyone, who would it be?
Blink 182 or Jimmy Eat World
When do you expect the full length to drop?
Sometime in June. We will have a sure date soon.
Did you re-visit any old songs, such as Molly Makeout and There's Still Time, on the full length?
Molly Makeout and Sorry I Stole Yo Gurl are on the full length.
Do you have any CD names in mind for the full length?
The CD is going to be called "Millennial Nightmare"
Hows it feel to be playing Bamboozle this year?
Awesome! It's a show that we have always wanted to play so it's an honor to be on it this year

Tony is a busy, busy man. When he's not tour managing for The Academy Is... he runs Snakes & Suits clothing company with childhood friend Johnny Minardi. And while he can get up to 100 emails a day, can never turn off his phone and has as few as five days to himself in a year, he took a few minutes to dish the dirt on bus life with the guys:
Who always brings too much stuff on tour? Adam.
Who snores the loudest? No one, actually.
Who mooches everyone's snacks? That's easy - Mike.
Who's most difficult to get rolling in the morning? Butcher
Who always forgets to pack something important? Jack
